New Homes for the De Beauvoir Estate Phase 2

Closed 31 May 2020

Opened 16 Mar 2020

Overview

We’re working alongside the local community to develop plans for Phase 2 of the De Beauvoir Estate project. This could provide more genuinely affordable homes for estate residents in housing need and some of the 13,000 families on Hackney's housing waiting list. The information boards below, from our recent event, introduce our early ideas for this Phase and we would welcome your feedback. We are particularly interested in finding out your views on the public spaces in the Phase 2 area.

The image below shows the phase 2 site area, which includes Trinity Court, Rose Lipman, the Neighbourhood Housing Office and the depot site.

We would like your feedback about the shop, cafe, Rose Lipman and public spaces within the red line, which is our site boundary, but we recognise that changes may have an impact on spaces next to the site so please do add your thoughts and think beyond the site area to help us better understand what is needed.

On 12th and 14th March we held a drop-in event to present our early ideas and give the local community the opportunity to feed into the designs as they develop.

If you couldn't make the events or have more to say, please let us know your views by completing this form.
