Air Quality Action Plan 2014-2018
Overview
We are asking residents, businesses and other statutory and non-statutory consultees to have their say about the proposed updated Air Quality Action Plan. The plan includes 28 objectives to improve air quality in the borough.
Why your views matter
As health based air quality standards are being exceeded for nitrogen dioxide in parts of the borough, the Council is required to publish an Air Quality Action Plan under Part IV of the Environment Act 1995. The first Air Quality Action Plan, published in 2006, has been updated to reflect work we are currently delivering and to set new challenging objectives to improve air quality across Hackney.
We are also consulting on the Draft Hackney Transport Stategy.
