Overview

Connecting people where it matters  - Hackney Needs You!!

Hackney Council values the views and opinions of residents and believe it is important to gather feedback about services run by the Council now and in the future. This is so it can continue to provide services that people want, and improve on the work the Council currently does.

To support the Council in doing this, it has set-up the Hackney Matters panel to help gather the opinions of local people. The Hackney Matters e-panel is an online community made up of Hackney residents who regularly receive surveys about issues that affect the community. This can include streets, roads, parks, education and public health.

Surveys are completed online, however it is also important for the Council to meet with members face to face at focus group discussions and events at least once a year.

Members of the panel have full access to a dedicated website where they can find out about latest news and other opportunities to have their say. They are also rewarded for their time and entered into FREE prize draws and competitions.
