    There are five Traveller sites within Hackney with a total of 27 pitches: 18 traditional pitches and nine pitches with brick built bungalows. Travellers living in bricks and mortar (bungalows) on Traveller sites have a tenancy agreement under the Housing Act 1996 while those living on traditional pitches have a licence agreement under the Caravan Control Act & Mobile Homes Act.   • Wick Woodland & Hackney Marshes Public Space Protection Order (PSPO)

    A Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) for the Wick Woodland area was implemented in 2019 and renewed in June 2022. This PSPO was in response to the growing number of complaints about unlicensed music events or raves and antisocial behaviour in Wick Woodland, Hackney Marshes and the surrounding area.
