Housing Services "Future Spending Priorities" - Results
Results updated 22 Jan 2024
Between 30 June and 10 September 2023, a major resident engagement exercise was carried out with people living in Hackney Council managed homes to find out which housing services were most important to them.
This was to help develop the Council’s Housing Services budget over the coming years, in the face of needing to find £11m in savings over four years.
A total of 1,023 responses were received - with the main priorities highlighted being repairing and maintaining homes, tackling damp and mould and addressing anti-social behaviour.
The findings have been used to support the setting of the Council’s Housing Services budget for the coming year.
