Overview

Digital connectivity for Hackney - Share you views and experience and get a £20 voucher!

Hackney Council is working to improve digital connectivity in the borough and we would like to hear from you. We are running a series of group discussions and are looking for a diverse range of Hackney residents to take part.

The focus of discussions will be on our vision for digital connectivity in Hackney. We want to make sure that people in Hackney have access to fast broadband internet connectivity (whether fixed, mobile, or wireless), and that everyone who wants to can take advantage of the opportunities that being active on the internet brings. You can read more about our vision in a blog post by Mayor Phillip Glanville here: https://blogs.hackney.gov.uk/hackit/a-vision-for-connectivity-in-hackney.

Anyone can get involved, no matter your level of knowledge or digital confidence. We want to know what you think of our ideas and what’s important to you. We will use your feedback to shape the plans that we take forward.

As a thank you for giving up your time to attend, we are offering every participant a £20 Love2Shop voucher. Please note, places are limited and vouchers will only be provided to those who are selected to attend.

Group discussions will be held at a central Hackney location, and will take place at the following times (you can only go to 1 session):

  • Monday 12 August, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
