Improving Fairchild's Garden
Overview
Fairchild’s Garden is a small park on Hackney Road, and is the last resting place of Thomas Fairchild, a notable local horticulturist. The space was known as Hackney Road Recreation Ground until 2017, when it was renamed to celebrate the 350th anniversary of Thomas Fairchild's birth.
Hackney Council has identified funding to transform the garden into a welcoming urban green space and would like your thoughts on the plans.
