Hackney Council is committed to improving the quality of its leisure facilities throughout the Borough, one recent example being the development of the new award-winning Britannia Leisure Centre in Hoxton.
London Fields Lido is a hugely popular and much-loved local facility, welcoming over 340,000 visitors last year. We are proposing to make improvements to the Lido, with the development of a new teaching pool to expand the swimming offer to a wider section of the community.
We will be holding a number of Drop-in Sessions to discuss the background of the proposal, outline what the project involves, and answer any questions you have.
Please do join us at any of the drop-in sessions at London Fields Lido on the following dates:
Representatives from the Council’s project team will be in attendance, and we are keen to hear your feedback on our proposals.
If you are not able to attend any of our in-person events, please follow the 'Give us your views' link below to view the information boards and complete an online feedback form.
The feedback we received will be taken on board and used to fine-tune the scheme prior to submission of the planning application later in the year.
During the consultation period, we have received a number of questions through our events and online survey. We have compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding the London Fields Lido Teaching Pool, which we hope will be helpful to you.
