Stonebridge Gardens (Snake Park) Play Area

Overview

In 2021 we adopted a new 10 year Parks and Green Spaces Strategy, which includes a commitment to creating more welcoming spaces and continuing to work with children, young people and their families to improve them.

We are already improving play areas at Clapton Pond, Haggerston Park, Clapton Square, Stoke Newington Common and Butterfield Green and in 2022 we are undertaking improvement works to a further four play areas: Clapton Common, Hackney Downs, Stonebridge Gardens aka Snake Park and Well Street Common.

Why your views matter

The current play area at Stonebridge Gardens is much loved, but some sections of it need improving, so last summer we spent time talking to users of the play area to help develop a new design.
