Overview

Following the government's announcement to end the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030 and in preparation for the expansion of Ultra Low Emission Zone in 2021, the Council would like to invite Hackney residents to attend a focus group.

The group will discuss your daily transport needs, the benefits of active travel such as walking and cycling, and possible incentives to switch from private vehicle ownership to greener travel alternatives.

The focus groups will be held online via Zoom on 14th and 15th December 2020 and participants will be asked to join one session at 10:30am - 12:30pm or 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

  • Permit holders with diesel vehicles in bands 2 (Up to 120 g/km) & 3 (121 - 185 g/km, or under 1200cc*)
