Call for Sites: suggest a place for future development
Overview
Hackney is preparing a new Local Plan. It will guide how land is used and how places across the borough grow and change over the next 15 years.
As part of this work, we need to identify potential sites that could be used differently in the future. These are often called site allocations.
Know a potential site?
You can use this survey to suggest land, buildings or other sites that you think we should consider through the new Local Plan.
You do not need to own the site to suggest it.
A site might potentially be suitable for:
- new homes, including affordable housing
- shops, offices or employment uses
- community, cultural or leisure facilities
- green or open space
- a mixture of different uses
- another use that you think Hackney needs.
At this stage, we are gathering as many potential sites as possible. Suggesting a site does not mean that it will be developed, included in the Local Plan or granted planning permission.
Before you start
You can suggest a site even if you do not know everything about it. Please provide as much information as you can and leave anything you do not know blank.
If you would like to suggest more than one site, please complete a separate submission for each site.
