Connecting Hoxton Updates
Overview
We’re investing in Hoxton’s streets and spaces to help people feel more connected, healthier and less isolated. This project is called "Connecting Hoxton".
Find out what’s changing and have your say.
Our aims for Hoxton
We want Hoxton to be a healthier, safer and more welcoming place for everyone by:
-
Making it easier and safer to walk, cycle and use public spaces.
-
Supporting people to live more active, healthier lives.
-
Improving access to local facilities.
-
Reducing air pollution and unnecessary traffic in the area.
What’s changing
So far we have:
-
Improved the entrance to Hoxton Community Garden.
-
Improved the green spaces around Geffrye Estate by planting trees, herbs and flowers, and adding bee posts, bug hotels and log piles.
