Cherishing & Supporting Hoxton’s Young & Old
Overview
Through co-design sessions, school engagement and conversations with parents, youth workers and older residents, people told us that Hoxton needs more welcoming spaces and activities for younger and older people. Some groups said they feel overlooked in existing public spaces, and many highlighted the importance of opportunities to connect across generations.
This theme focuses on making Hoxton more inclusive, sociable and age-friendly.
This theme focuses on:
- Creating more activities and spaces for young people and older adults
- Supporting intergenerational connection and community life
- Improving facilities that already play an important social role
