King's Crescent Residents Steering Group Expression of Interest

Overview

We have reached a major milestone in the next phase of the King’s Crescent’s regeneration as we are due to submit the planning application for the south side of the estate in the coming weeks.

We are taking this opportunity to relaunch the Residents Steering Group and would like to see a broad representation of the community within the newly formed group, ideally from every block, and would welcome new members.

The purpose of this group is to work positively with the Council to steer the regeneration through the planning and construction stages that will happen over the next few years.

Members of the group would need to participate in some essential basic training, and then attend regular meetings (every 6 weeks, usually 7-8.30pm) throughout the regeneration period. The first session will be 28 February, at 6.30pm in the Vince Murrain Community Centre.

If you would like to be involved, please complete the expression of interest form to by 15 March 2019. Hackney Council is a Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We will hold the information given to us in this form for the specific purpose of processing expressions of interest to join the King’s Crescent Residents Steering Group only. Under the GDPR any information you provide may be disclosed to other organisations in order for this local authority to perform its duty to protect public funds it administers, and to this end may use the information you have provided for prevention and detection of fraud.
