Woodberry Down Phase 5 - Resident Leaseholder Survey

Overview

As the Woodberry Down regeneration continues, we want to get your views on the options you have as a leaseholder living on the estate. We know that news of regeneration can feel unsettling, and we want to be clear about what this means for you. At this stage, no one is being asked to move home immediately.

Whether you intend to stay within the new development or are considering moving further afield, our goal is to ensure the transition is as smooth, transparent, and fair as possible. To do that effectively, we need to understand your specific household requirements, your financial preferences, and your priorities for a new home.

There are currently no immediate moves planned, however the council are to begin preparations for a Compulsory Purchase Order in the Summer of 2026 subject to Cabinet approval. The purpose of this survey is to understand your preferences and housing needs so that we can assist you with your next move.

We understand you may want advice from someone outside the Council. You can contact the Independent Tenant and Leasehold Adviser who is funded by the Council but works entirely for the residents to provide impartial guidance.
