Overview

The following 4 voluntary aided schools and academies in Hackney are consulting on their admission arrangements for the school year 2028-2029.

The proposed admissions arrangements for each school are linked below:

• Cardinal Pole Catholic School
• Mossbourne Riverside Academy
• The Excelsior Academy
• The Urswick School

Admission arrangements explain how schools decide which pupils have priority for school places, as well as how many places each of the schools can offer. 

The consultation is open from 2 November to 13 December 2026. If you wish to submit your views, you must submit your response during this period.
