New council homes for the De Beauvoir Estate – Phase 1
Overview
Hackney is facing a severe housing shortage, with more than 3,000 families living in hostels and other temporary accommodation – part of more than 13,000 families on our housing waiting list.
That’s why Hackney is building. At the De Beauvoir Estate, we are proposing to build 186 new homes in Phase 1 here as part of our commitment to make the most of land on our estates alongside delivering improvements for existing residents.
