Overview

Hackney is facing a severe housing shortage, with more than 3,000 families living in hostels and other temporary accommodation - some of more than 13,000 families on our housing waiting list. That’s why Hackney is building. As part of our plans to provide much-needed housing on council-owned land, we’re proposing to build 80-90 homes at Lincoln Court.

We are keen to hear your thoughts on our plans - please review the information in the documents below and complete the online survey below.

Online event

In order to keep both the community and staff safe in the light of coronavirus, we have made some changes to how we would normally hold our events. We are holding online sessions on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday 16 March, 7pm - 8:30pm
  • Thursday 18 March, 4pm - 5:30pm
  • Sunday 21 March, 2pm - 3:30pm

The first half hour of the Thursday and Sunday sessions will be for young people and children to give their thoughts on what they would like to see in the development, so please do come along and let us know what you think!

Telephone call sessions

If you aren’t able to join online sessions, we will also be holding sessions via telephone. You can book a session to discuss the project with the team. In advance of the session, we will send you the information pack (via post or
email). Please get in touch to book a convenient time for a telephone session.
