What you told us

Earlier this year, we held feedback sessions at the play area to ask how it could be better and what you thought about making the play area bigger.

What we are proposing

We have used this feedback to develop a proposed new design.

This includes proposals to expand the play space for a wider range of ages, introduce more varied and inclusive play, and make changes to nearby paths to encourage cyclists to slow down.

You can complete more than one survey if you use more than one of the play areas.

Why your views matter

We want to know what you think about the proposed play equipment and whether the design works well for children of different ages and abilities.

We are also asking for your views on some specific changes, including:

• expanding the play area to provide more space for older children
• measures intended to slow cyclists on nearby paths
• how the new expansion area should be enclosed
• natural play features and the material used in the loose-fill play area
• a proposed new 'secret entrance' feature.

Children and young people's views matter

Children and young people are the main users of the play area, so we particularly want to hear what they think.

If you are responding as a parent or carer, please look at the design with your child or children and include their views when completing the survey.

We will consider your feedback alongside things such as available space, safety requirements, technical considerations and the project budget.
