Geffrye Estate - Landscaping Plans Consultation

Overview

Connecting Hoxton
The Connecting Hoxton Design Consultation survey is live
We are inviting your views on the designs discussed at our recent Connecting Hoxton events. The survey is open until 14 February.

As part of the wider ‘Connecting Hoxton Project’ we are proposing to improve the Geffrye Estate gardens with new landscaping features.

These features include:

  • perennial bulbs and wildflower sown into existing lawns
  • native and fruiting hedges
  • fruit trees
  • bee posts, bug hotels and log piles

Please see below for the proposal:

These proposals provide the opportunity to significantly increase the current levels of biodiversity within the estate, providing much needed habitat and introducing planting which is to be managed by the grounds maintenance team.

We believe that these improvements will not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of your estate but also provide a more enjoyable and inviting outdoor space for residents to relax and socialise.

We would like for you to assist us in finalising these proposal and have your say by completing this short survey.

Alternatively, we will be holding and in person consultation meeting and invite you to join us on 12 November at 6pm at 65 Dunloe Street E2 8EN, to discuss the proposed landscaping plans. At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions, and provide your valuable feedback.
