Nightingale Estate - Olympus Green Survey

Overview

Since appointing Mullaley as our construction partner to deliver the first 70 homes for social rent on Nightingale Estate, we’ve been working to further develop plans for the much-needed new homes alongside wider improvements to the estate. 

We are proposing to deliver a package of enabling work, including a new community centre associated with a new position for the community garden and improvements to the communal areas.

In 2021, we invited residents to have their say on the Council’s plans to transform Olympus Green – the green space in the middle of Nightingale Estate.

Through a number of different workshops and walkabouts, we collected a lot of valuable feedback which has helped shape our plans for the green. The report following this engagement can be found here.

Since then, we have been working with Mullaley to develop these plans. 

Proposed plans:

• A new temporary community centre.   
• Revised proposals for Olympus Green.
