Overview
Parking Services consulted you between December 2020 and February 2021 on the introduction of parking controls on your road and nearby roads in your area (Stage 1 consultation in Stamford Hill East & West). As a result of the consultation and other factors suchs as parking stress, road safety, air quality, the need for a logical boundary and environmental impact of parking, the Council made the recommendation to introduce parking controls and create Parking Zone Y (Stamford Hill East).
Before the Council installs new parking restrictions, we want to ensure that the operational hours of the parking zone and the design of parking restrictions meet your needs. We are therefore conducting a Stage 2 design consultation to seek your views on:
- Operational hours for Zone Y
- Proposed parking design for Zone Y
The final operational hours recommended for Zone Y will affect all road users, cyclists, pedestrians and motorists - it is therefore vital we get everyone's opinion even if you do not drive a car, van or motorcycle.
We have reviewed our processes to ensure all residents and businesses within a consultation area can express authentic views on parking related matters. As such, we have made some changes to our parking consultation policy, to guarantee the feedback received reflects the parking needs of the residents and businesses within the zone and allows the Council to make recommendations based on genuine responses. Full details of the changes can be found in the consultation leaflet.
Please note you will need your unique reference from your consultation pack to submit this online questionnaire. Without this, you will not be able to submit an online response. If you have not received a questionnaire, please contact us on 020 8356 8877 and a consultation pack will be sent out to you. Consultation packs will only be provided upon provision of proof of residency. Please see page 9 of the consultation leaflet for what the Council will accept as proof of residency.
